Die OCX ist da und wir sind dabei! Als Sponsoren und Speaker treten wir dieses Jahr bei der Open Community Experience (OCX) auf. Die Konferenz der Eclipse Foundation findet vom 22. bis 24. Oktober in Mainz statt. Als Mitglied der Eclipse Foundation ist uns die aktive Teilnahme an Diskussionen in der OSGi Community ein besonderes Anliegen.
Wir freuen uns daher insbesondere auf den OSGi Summit: Hier werden sich zahlreiche Interessierte auf internationaler Ebene unter anderem zu bevorstehenden Erweiterungen der Spezifikationen und neuen Einsatzmöglichkeiten der Technologie austauschen.
Am 22. Oktober sind startet dort Mark Hoffmann von 10:45 bis 11:30 Uhr mit einem eigenen, englischsprachigen Vortrag zum Thema “Modellierung für Smart Cities - Welche Rolle OSGi spielen kann” vertreten. Dabei gehen wir insbesondere im Rahmen des Eclipse Modeling Framework auf geeignete Werkzeuge ein, um in Kombination mit OSGi ein leistungsfähiges System zu schaffen. Abgerundet wird die Präsentation durch den Blick auf ein Praxisprojekt, welches bereits mit einer Kombination aus EMF und OSGi arbeitet.

The OCX is here and we are there! We are sponsors and speakers at this year’s Open Community Experience (OCX). The conference of the Eclipse Foundation will take place from October 22 to 24 in Mainz, Germany. Active participation in discussions within the OSGi community is particularly important to us as a member of the Eclipse Foundation.
We are therefore particularly looking forward to the OSGi Summit, where numerous interested parties will be exchanging views at an international level on upcoming extensions to the specifications and new applications for the technology, among other things.
On October 22, Mark Hoffmann will be there from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. with his own presentation on “Modeling for Smart Cities - Which role can OSGi play”. In particular, we will discuss suitable tools within the framework of the Eclipse Modeling Framework to create a powerful system in combination with OSGi. The presentation will be completed by a look at a practical project that is already working with a combination of EMF and OSGi.
